About Me and OneFourNine Studio

G’day, Connor here. I’m a creative bloke based on the Gold Coast who loves making things that feel real. My backgrounds in creative direction; film, graphic design, photography, creative strategy, you name it. At the heart of it all, I’m about telling stories that hit you in the feels, not just look pretty.

OneFourNine Studio started in a simple way. My partner and I got our first horse together, built him a little shelter, and I thought 2 days before Christmas, I should make him a little sign. His foal number on his shoulder is number 149. OneFourNine then became a symbol of something personal, something handmade. And that’s where this whole thing began.

My philosophy? Forget mass-produced, soulless stuff. I love the feeling of those old home videos Dad used to shoot on the handycam; the shaky frames, the imperfect focus. There’s something raw and honest about that. It resonates with me because it creates a feeling you can’t fake. That’s what I chase in everything I make: character, soul, and authenticity. Perfect is boring; real is better.

When you grab something from OneFourNine Studio, you’re getting a piece that’s one-of-a-kind. It’s not fine art, but it’s got heart, grit, and a bit of rustic charm. No robots here just me in the shed, taking your special friends name, sketching it up digitally, then bringing them to life by hand.

Ready to bring some character into your space? Flick me a message, share a story about your furry friend, and let’s make something that feels real.
